Artisan (our brand spanking new look restaurant at The Biscuit Factory) presents SUPPER CLUB; an informal and laidback introduction to some of their signature dishes by North East Chef of the Year Andrew Wilkinson.

Bring a pal, grab a chair at one of our creatively designed long tables and sit back for this unique experience of supper in the gallery.

There’ll be paid bar and free entertainment for all late shows visitors on the evening.

The North East Baby and Toddler Show will return in 2014 on the 27th April at The Gateshead International Stadium. If you are pregnant or have a baby or toddler, this event is not to be missed!

Exhibitors will include unique baby gifts and essentials, midwife support and a range of fun classes available to you in the north east.

A great family day out with everything you need for you and your little one(s) all under one roof. On stage there will be displays throughout the day, from baby sign language to first aid for babies and children.

Spring Fling is Scotland’s leading visual art and craft open studio event which attracts around 10,000 visitors from across the world to artists’ studios in Dumfries & Galloway, South West Scotland every Spring.

For the first time, The Biscuit Factory is working with Spring Fling as part of their national showcase, exhibiting work by a selection of their studio artists and makers in the lead up to their annual Spring Fling Open Studios event.

Join us for an afternoon of swing dancing, live music, and an auction to raise money for Christian Aid. Entry includes locally made afternoon tea and a fabulous dance demonstration.

All proceeds will go to Christian Aid (registered charity number 1105851).

We act where there is great need, regardless of religion, helping people to live a full life, free from poverty. We provide urgent, practical and effective assistance in tackling the root causes of poverty as well as its effects.

Football mad mums can be wined and dined this month within sight of Newcastle’s hallowed St James’ Park turf.

Sodexo Prestige, which runs the conference and banqueting facilities at Newcastle United, has organised a special Mothering Sunday lunch on Sunday 30 March for lovers of the beautiful game.

Families can choose either a two or three course table d’hôte meal, prepared by Sodexo’s award-winning team of chefs, followed by a mini tour of the stadium and all mums will also be given a gift as a memento of their special day.

The Mothering Sunday Lunch at St James’ Park is priced at £18.95 per person for three courses or £15.95 for two, with children dining for £9.95 and £7.95 respectively.

Daughters can enjoy some precious pamper time with their mums this month at one of the North East’s most luxurious spa hotels.

The popular Lifespan Charity Art Auction returns again to The Biscuit Factory – with a host of national and local artists going under the hammer including Michael Ewart, Liz Whiteside, Jack Vettriao, Sarah-Jane Szikora,Beryl Cook, Billy Childish and many more.

Lifespan works across Northumberland, Tyne & Wear and County Durham providing support to people with serious and life-threatening illnesses such as cancer and motor neurone disease. This is a fun evening and a vital fundraiser for the charity.
