South Shields and Westoe Rugby Football Club are sure to put on a smashing show this year with their eighth annual fireworks display on Friday 30th October at Westoe Rugby Club in South Shields. The event helps raise funds that keep the multi-sport community hub up and running, all while putting on a stellar show for the attendees.
The whole event will start at 6pm, though the main fireworks display will be on later at 8:30pm. There will be food, drinks, and entertainment for all ages throughout the night with fire dancers, fairground rides and some special visiting superheroes always proving popular. However, with the nearby South Shields Museum and Art Gallery open from 10am until 5pm there is no reason not to turn this into a full day out for the whole family.
The tickets, which are all available from the club shop or by phoning 0109 4561506, cost £6 for adults, £5 for OAP’s, adult tickets bought before the day, and children between 5 and 18, with under 5’s going free. There is also a family ticket for 4 people which costs a total of £20.
