New Year’s Eve Peacock Masquerade at Tiger Hornsby (31/12/2014 - 01/12/2015)

PARTYGOERS are invited to shake their tail feathers at a glamorous New Year’s Eve Peacock Masquerade.

The end of year party is being held at sophisticated new cocktail bar Tiger Hornsby, Close, Quayside, Newcastle, on 31 December and promises an evening of fizz, fun and fireworks to ring out the old year and welcome the new.

The ticket only event will begin with Champagne cocktails and festive canapés with a DJ and live saxophonist providing music throughout the evening.

Then, at midnight, guests will be given a special pass to watch a spectacular firework display, which will light up the Quayside and the river Tyne’s iconic bridges.

“It’s going to be a glittering and gorgeous end to what has been a fabulous year,” said Tiger Hornsby’s owner Rachael Frame, who launched the venue in August.

“It’ll be the perfect occasion to dress up and celebrate New Year in beautiful surroundings with great music and a party atmosphere.”

Throughout December Tiger Hornsby, which is named after one of Tyneside’s most glamorous ‘It’ girls, is open on Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm to 2am; on Friday and Saturday, from 3pm to 3am and on Sunday from 12pm to 12am and admission is free.

Tiger Hornsby will also be open every day between Christmas and New Year from midday.
