Paintings, watercolours and prints by Naomi Alexander, created as the result of a number of visits to Lithuania where the artist went to discover more about her family’s past.
In 2002, Naomi Alexander was invited to be artist in residence at the Europas Parkas Sculpture Museum in Vilnius.
Of Lithuanian origin herself, she wanted to record the last remnants of Jewish heritage to be found in the country and she travelled widely, making drawings and watercolours of the buildings that she saw and the people that she met.
