The beautiful, newly restored 125 year old interior of St George's, Jesmond will resound this Christmas to angelic voices, harp, and Northumbrian pipes when The Singers present their first 'Christmas with The Singers' concert on 21 December.
The Singers, based in Newcastle and one of the country's top chamber choirs, will be joined by special guests for a programme of carols and Christmas music old and new. Guests will include Emily Hoile, a native of the north east and back for Christmas from the Julliard School in New York, and Glasgow based cellist Donald Robinson, a rising star on the Scottish music scene.
Mulled wine and mince pies will be served by The Friends of St George's. Tickets can be purchased at J G Windows, at the door and online at www.christmaswiththesingers.com
