The Council's Programme and Project database is currently in development. The database will provide information on all programme and project activity across the council, and all projects will be included in the database.
The database will be compiled automatically with the information you provide for your project/programme when completing the various stage documents (i.e. stage 1 to 6), together with the formal gateway reviews undertaken by the relevant Project or Programme Board.
The database enables the copies of your project documents and the formal responses from Project/Programme Boards to be held centrally and securely.
Directorate Programme Managers (DPMs) have access to the database to enable the overview of projects and programmes and their progress. DPMs are able to undertake some basic interrogation of the data to enable the wider review and reporting of projects/programmes.
In time it is intended to give individual Project Managers (PMs) access to the database via CorVu, the Council's performance management system, providing a one-stop-shop for managers to monitor programme and project activity alongside service delivery.
